Cruz [KB]

This project was a mash-up between pinterest and webtoon. I was looking for some character to model so I looked at my pinterest character gallery and found one. I was also reading some webtoon called Phantom Paradise by Rurisen and the art was just GORGEOUS so I decided to copy the First Deity Court Ji-Ruqian's hairstyle. Since I didn't know what body type I should sculpt then, I google and I found some reference from Cuberush. The end goal for this project is to project a 3D concept of the character from references but with my own personal twist on the body type and face. Twas' also named Cruz because I can't get the Bandidas movie out of my head xD

Breakdown: The base was sculpted in zbrush and the armor was a mixed sculpt from Zbrush to Maya back to back. It's a bit weird making hard surface with just Zbrush so I tend to switch to Maya and detail it later on in Zbrush. I also changed bits of the armor cuz' It looked weird on the body type. The model runs on Polypaint and materials.
